TASK OUTLINES
NOTE: Changes to content areas and topics may be made after the correct procedures have been followed.
Task 1: 60 minute Test: This will be on Credit and Borrowing, further applications of Area and Volume, and further algebraic skills and techniques as well as questions from the focus studies of mathematics and health and mathematics and resources. It may also include some preliminary work on the same topics.
Task 2: Student project covering the Health Focus Study in General Mathematics 2.
Task 3: Trial HSC: (2½ hours) This will cover all the topics covered up to date and may include some preliminary content and skills. It will comprise 25 multiple choice questions followed by 5 x 15 mark questions requiring fully worked solutions.
Task 4: 60 minuteTest: This will cover course content not included in the Trial HSC and/or content and skills not already assessed at a sufficient depth.
